For those who seek a mix of excitement, unlimited shopping and a great tourist and beach experience Malaga provides all of that and more! With beach side eateries that have the best grilled seafood to unlimited shopping and nightlife along with historical architecture and an amazing cathedral, this city by the sea is a wonderful city to visit as well as live. And the costs for all of the above range from free to almost nothing. Get lost in the shops, bars and great restaurants as you make your way through the streets of old town. For a truly Spanish experience, spend a few days or a lifetime.
The airport is reached by direct flights from almost all of Spain’s larger city airports. Although the downtown is about a 25 minute cab ride from the airport, with no train service. You can take a train from many major cities to Malaga but the time it takes and the price make taking a short flight much more accomodating. Keep in mind that the old town with its hilltop castle and many restaurants, shops and clubs is fun and exciting, the noise level may be a bit much, so booking a hotel just outside of this area should be considered. The beach is also within walking distance where several restaurants are located.
